As the largest cash management company in India - with a 4,000-vehicle fleet serving over 150,000 businesses across 97% of districts in the country - CMS sought to reduce emissions and increase fuel efficiency. To address this challenge, the company has implemented a fleet management solution that optimizes routes, tracks vehicles in real-time, and reduces operating costs while increasing utilization. It also procured new vehicles conforming to BS VI norms, resulting in a 10% increase in mileage, and has been increasing the proportion of compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles in its fleet. ESG-linked financing with KPIs focused on operational and fuel efficiency is being utilized to obtain discounted interest rates.

EQT Exeter

Contributing Source: EQT Reports

EQT Exeter has committed to installing photovoltaic (PV) panels on the roof of a 23,000 sqm warehouse to reduce grid energy demand and generate approximately 720 MWh per year, with 80% of the energy supplied directly to the tenant. This move will result in cost savings of approximately 40% in annual grid electricity costs for the tenant, along with additional rental value per year of approximately 10% of project costs and a 5% improvement in asset value. The EQT Exeter funds acquire, develop, and manage logistics, office, life science, and residential real estate properties, having been created through the combination of Exeter Property Group and EQT in April 2021.
