Chambers, an independent professional legal research company, launched its D&I program in 2012 with the 'Women in Law' initiative and expanded it in 2015 to include all demographic denominations. The organization integrated D&I questions into surveys in 2019, and began tracking metrics across firms on how their diversity was changing year-on-year. Chambers established the INSPIRE committee in 2020 to focus on D&I and responsible business practices across the firm, updating policies and implementing new ones, and conducting internal training initiatives and panel events with external speakers. In just three years from first application, Chambers became a certified Disability Confident Level 3 'Leader' in 2023, demonstrating high levels of commitment from across the business to build the processes and structures.
